Laser hair removal works by using a concentrated beam of light that is absorbed by the pigment in the hair follicle damaging it to inhibit future hair growth. Multiple treatments are needed to achieve long lasting results as the hair grows in cycles and laser can only target hair growth in the active growth stage. The number of treatments needed depends on the area being treated and varies between 6-12 sessions for optimal results, yearly top up appointments are also recomended to keep regrowth to a minimum.

What results can I expect ?

With every session the hair will grow thinner. After completing a treatment package approx 80-90% of the hair will be reduced - WE CAN NOT GUARANTEE 100% 

Aftercare ?

* Avoid adding heat, hot showers, saunas, steam rooms for approx 48 hours 🔥

* Protect your skin from sun exposure 

* No swimming pools as chlorine can cause irritation approx 48 hours 

* DO NOT WAX, PLUCK or USE HAIR REMOVAL CREAM on between sessions 

* Regular sessions are recommended we advise 4-6 weeks for facial hair removal & 6-8 weeks for body removal.

Is there any downtime ?

Nope none at all - you are good to go about your daily duties immediately after your session - however we advise you treat your skin as if you have just had sunburn - use of Aloe Vera gel is recommended 

What areas can be treated?

Nearly everywhere 

Male & Female too & bundles are available to suit your needs 

Suitable for skin types 1-6 - your skin type will be determined during your consultation appointment & custom settings will be used for client safety

Do I need a top up?

Entirely up to you - some people like to pop back once or twice a year for a top up session to keep things at bay - see how you go :-)

Why do I need more than one session?

This is due to the hair growing in stages we need to target the hair whilst it's active in anagen stage & since no hair is in the same stage at the same time multiple sessions are required to ensure we treat them all effectively 

What machine is used & will it hurt?

A trio diode laser machine is used combining Alexandrite, Yag & Diode lasers to allow treatment on all skin types efficiently

How do I prepare for laser treatment?

Before you arrive for your laser sessions we advise you shave the areas - unless you wish to use our Pre Laser Shaving option (which is an additional charge) and must be stated on booking your appointment to allocate enough time to your session.

You can shave on the morning of your treatment or the evening before if you have sensitive skin - a razor or a trimmer set to 0 will be enough to prepare you for your session.

Please ensure you have not applied any creams or sprays to the area prior to your appointment which may cause a barrier + please remove these before arriving.

How long will it take?

Everyones skin is different we recommend 6 sessions & we can reassess from there. Most guys need around 8-10 sessions due to the hair being coarser than ladies hair.

How does laser work? 

Laser beams target pigment found in the hair which then heats up & damaged the follicle causing the hair to fall out in approx 7-14 days. The hair will also be gone in between sessions too which is always a BONUS.
